This is the instruction paper that came with my blow dryer. I'm scratching my head over #7. Because I often blow dry my hair while falling asleep?

  3. Sadly enough, there IS a reason for that one... they need to protect themselves from being sued.
Apparently... some put their baby next to a hair dryer to comfort and warm them?

Seriously... a woman killed.. basically cooked... her baby with a blow dryer...

Details in the article that one might not want to read... but I didn't want anyone to think I made it up.

Brigit Hippen is her name if the link does not work.

Prosecutors allege a Hutchinson woman on trial this week acted recklessly in the death of her 3-month-old daughter, who died after the woman left a hairdryer on near the baby and then fell asleep.

But the defense argues the baby's death was a tragic accident, and Brigit Hippen was a young, inexperienced mother who used the hairdryer to comfort and provide warmth for her baby.
